Monday Morning “Impediment to Productivity” – 20061023

Hi,

Another quick one this week, fairly video heavy but that’s what was in the mail box.

Jools has sprung to the defence of all the frustrated game players out there.

I quote. “What do you mean you’re not sending out a game this week? This is not a game, it’s a …lemme see.. I know! It’s a life lesson with music.

Love Jools”

This game plays like a normal flash game on drugs. The good kind. Maybe. Just play the game. You’ll see. If you want to see the full high score list, then check out the high scores section of this website. Instructions: Move with the arrow keys; or the wasd keys if you’d prefer. Don’t die if you can help it. (and tell me how you did it)

Bandwidth soak time. Video by the firstpost.co.uk. (Which bye the bye is a great little “impediment in it’s own right. http:// firstpost.co.uk ) This version of Web 2.0 is probably just as much fun as the current Web 2.0. A vision of computing as it might have been http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FSNNq85gGQ

and then there’s Battle of The Bands (the Album Covers at least) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6bUD9PJ6i8&eurl=

Picking up from a week or two back on the “Yarts”, this week Deconstructing Roy Lichtenstein by David Barsalou. David went out and found the original comic palnels that were the inspiration for Lichtenstein’s paintings. I found it fascinating. http://davidbarsalou.homestead.com/LICHTENSTEINPROJECT.html

And lastly some of the highlights from over at http://notdeadyet.com.au/duggup Lots of interesting stuff this week stroll over and have a rummage.

As usual have a good one
