Monday Morning “Impediment to Productivity” – 20061106

Hi,

Well even a drive crash has an upside. I don’t know what it is yet, but I am sure there must be one.

First up. The Chubbchubbs are coming!

Jools found the game for this week. Her record was 17 metres, mine was 29. I possibly had more practice at the real thing.

Oh look. The Chubbchubbs are coming!

There are days when I wonder if I have fallen through the looking glass and into the Star Trek-verse. I am amazed by the totally of the wall things that people can do while playing with rapid prototyping technology. Here, members of the Swedish design group FRONT use motion capture tech to record the free-handed strokes of their furniture drawing and then a rapid prototyping machine fabricates the pieces they’ve drawn in liquid plastic. Welcome to the 21st century
Go to http://www.frontdesign.se/sketchfurniture/ and click on the movie link near the bootom of the page. (Needless to say I want a tank)

Have you noticed that The Chubbchubbs are coming!

More “Blame” for craig

“A game. Not sure if you have covered this one before, but I was pointed to it by someone else so hopefully it is new:

Very simple, but addictive. You hold the ball of paper down until you judge you can make the shot into the waste bin, allowing for wind speed and
direction.

Regards Craig ”
