After last Friday’s post about Sizer had been up for about 20 minutes I stumbled across Protolize.org , their tag is “Essential web tools in one place”.
It has headings for most of the usual suspects. AJAX, Javascript, PHP, Flash etc and appears to have a review process that says
Only the most useful and current tools will be considered to be on the list.
The Javascript section has some links to interesting stuff, Freestyle menus which I had just been recommending to a friend, and Boxover (BoxOver uses javascript / DHTML to show transparent tooltips on a website.)
The site is being run by Seattle based freelance web designer Tony Yoo and is one that I think is worth bookmarking or putting on the RSS list.
It is really handy having all this stuff in one place. Thanks Tony.
