Impediment to Productivity: Ambigrams by John Langdon

Thatchspace Ambigram
I last mentioned Ambigrams back in August.Monday Morning “Impediment to Productivity” 20050822

To jog your memories
“Ambigrams are words or phrases that can be read in more than one way or from more than a single vantage point, most commonly right-side-up and upside-down. In the book one of the “features” of the bad guys are these words that look the same forward or back or upside down. They looked really really cool.”
The website http://ambigram.matic.com/ambigram.htm now appears to be back..

But, John Langdon is the bloke who did the ambigrams for Dan Brown’s “Angels and Demons” and he has a website.

The Angels and Demons stuff is at http://www.johnlangdon.net/angelsanddemons.html and there he chats about how he got the gig. If you haven’t read the book yet, it might be an idea to scrounge a copy before you delve to deeply. I’m not sure that it classes as spoilers but lets just be careful.

There a bunch of other examples of his work so go and check it out. It really is cool.
