Take a dictionary, ramp it up with AJAX (it’s so fashionable), and you’ve got ObjectGraph Dictionary, a dictionary that displays results automagically with each keystroke (well it does eventually, the faster your link the better for this one). The interface works like Google Suggest
You geta choice of four different word sets:
- Classical is the websters 1913 dictionary (which is rather amusingly out of date)
- the freely available FOLDOC online dictionary (which should probably really be the default selection)
- the periodic elements
- a Thesaurus mode
All in all a useful addition, but the best bit is when you click on how it works they geive a really good explanation with code examples and all. Very cool.
