Hi,
Just a quick one this week. I have been busy attempting to be productive for the last few days. But that doesn’t mean you should.
Lets begin and assign some “Blame”.
Bruce has sent this one along.
“G’day Thatch..
Another blatantly commercial little time-waster, but well worth the detour, even if (like me) you don’t like Guinness – http://www.bestadsontv.com/ad_details.php?id=634
See ya,
Bruce ”
This site has a whole bunch of video and the odd “NOT SAFE FOR WORK” bit. But the video is very funny.
The next piece of “Blame” is from Ross ( a new entrant in the Blame Game).
“A friend of mine – Stan – sent this to me. Haven’t looked at it but thought your readers may find it of interest.

This is amazing.
Play any song or tune at your computer and it tells you WHAT IT IS and WHO PERFORMED IT.
It’s called Tunatic — http://wildbits.com/tunatic/ (Mac and Windoze) It’s freeware.
Now, when I say “play any song at your computer” what I mean is this — if your computer has a mic input, you can play a song from the radio, or a CD or a cassette. The damn thing hears it and tells you what it’s called and who recorded it. It works. Pretty much mostly.
”
Thanks for that Ross
Today’s Time Waster isn’t really a game, nor do I know what its proper name is nor how to describe it, exactly. There’s no object or ending, but it’s brilliant and mesmerizing. Various web sites are calling it a falling sand game, but there’s much more to it than that. It’s a Java app in which four continuous streams of matter fall from the top of the screen: one of sand, one of water, one of salt, and one of oil. There’s a wall tool that you can use to paint walls, bowls, ramps, and platforms to direct the streams, a plant tool to create green plants which grow when hit with water, a “cera” tool to create wax which is melted by fire, and more. Oil interacts with water and fire as you’d expect it too, and fire does likewise. The eraser tool lets you destroy anything you’ve created, and there’s a mysterious “namekuji,” a lively object I’ve yet to figure out. All there is to do is play, so play! Definitely one of the coolest and most enigmatic time wasters yet.
http://chir.ag/stuff/sand/ I really love this one
Time to exercise your mind. Once you visit and take a look at what’s available, you’ll likely start visiting on a regular basis. This games have been developed of Philipp Lenssen

To call War of the Hell bizarre would be an understatement, as would calling it addicting. The object of this Japanese Java game is to capture the flailing stick figures with the rope that dangles from your cursor and drag them from the groundâ€â€hell, presumablyâ€â€up the the top of the screenâ€â€heaven. Unfortunately for you it’s a bit like capturing epileptic geese with fly paper. The object is to get as many people to heaven as possible, in as large groups as you can, but as with most “Impediments” there’s no real end to the game.
Weird as all get out.
